Saviez-vous que dans certains produits domestiques tels que les produits cosmétiques, pharmaceutiques et domestiques, les plastiques et les pesticides se cachent des substances qui miment nos hormones naturelles? Ces substances se nomment des « perturbateurs endocriniens ». Dans quels objets de consommation les retrouvons-nous? Que pouvons-nous faire pour prendre notre propre santé en charge?
Rassemblés dans un espace convivial et familial, Bernard Robaire, chercheur à l’Université McGill, Lise Parent, chercheuse à l’Université TÉLUQ, Stéphane Bayen, chercheur à l’Université McGill et Nathalie Robitaille, conseillère en santé environnementale et développement durable, répondront à ces questions et à celles du public. Animé par Isabelle Plante, chercheuse à l’INRS et directrice du CIAPE, ce café scientifique nous permettra d’en apprendre plus sur les solutions individuelles et sociétales face à notre exposition quotidienne aux perturbateurs endocriniens.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES PLANNED
ICEDA’s mission is to promote collaboration between its members and the training of highly qualified personnel, and also an effective platform between the academic world, decision-makers and the general population. To carry out this mission, various scientific activities are planned.
Conferences given by members, guest speakers and students, as well as presentations by the group’s various governance committees.

Presentations from members, student members and guest speakers which will be broadcast live on the web to allow participation of all members and collaborators of the network. These webinars will provide both a better understanding of the expertise of members, but will also contribute to the training of students.
