Valérie Langlois

Valérie Langlois is an Associate professor at INRS, the Institut national de la recherche scientifique, founder et director of ICEDA. She held a Canada Research Chair in Ecotoxicogenomics and Endocrine Disruption since 2015. She was awarded the Gorbman-Bern Award from the North American Society in Comparative Endocrinology in 2017, along with the University of Quebec’s Young Researcher Award in 2019, and more recently, the 2020 Government of Quebec’s Young Researcher Award, all of these for the importance of her scientific contribution to the field of comparative endocrinology. Her research team is dedicated to studying contaminants that are present in the environment and affect the health of wildlife, such as fish and frogs.
